Who We Are

Resthaven on Quarry, formerly known as Resthaven Nursing Home, has been serving Mackay since 1973. CEO Mary Anne and her mother, Joan, became providers in 1984 and nurtured the facility to grow and develop, moving to its current site in 1999. Joan provided her invaluable service until 2005 when she entered retirement.

Today, Resthaven on Quarry continues this legacy by providing compassionate and individualised care in a warm, homely environment. We now have a 63-bed haven, boasting a team that's dedicated to upholding our values of dignity, respect and quality in everything we do. Our facility is not just a place to live, it's a place where life is celebrated, supported by our diverse team of caring professionals available around the clock.
