Join Resthaven on Quarry, a privately owned and operated residential aged care facility in North Mackay, Queensland, dedicated to providing exceptional care and accommodation for 63 residents. We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team, valuing attitude over qualifications, as practical skills can be taught. While completion or working towards Certificate III is desirable, experience in aged care and a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance is advantageous. We welcome employment inquiries from care staff and environmental staff who have an interest in the catering, cleaning and laundry areas as well as maintenance and grounds.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing activities of daily living, basic clinical care and psychosocial support to residents. Literacy and numeracy skills are essential for documentation, and familiarity with the Accreditation system is beneficial. We value well-being, requiring a conscious effort towards self, staff and resident well-being and practising safe work skills. Flexibility, good time management and the ability to work varied shifts, including alternate weekends, are essential.
